Seekho’s user base is diverse, but their intent is deeply personal. Some arrive with urgency, to complete a government form or solve an immediate task. Others come with ambition, to build a YouTube channel or invest in long-term skill growth. This research set out to understand not just what users do on the platform, but what moves them to begin, continue, or quietly disengage.
Through in-depth conversations and qualitative exploration, three distinct archetypes emerged: Pragmatics, Creators, and Life-Fixers. Each approached learning differently, shaped by time, financial sensitivity, confidence, and clarity of outcome. We observed that perceived value and visible progress played a crucial role in sustaining engagement, while friction around pricing, time constraints, and unclear returns often led to drop-offs.
The work helped Seekho and xto10x see their users not as segments to optimise, but as individuals navigating effort, aspiration, and uncertainty. The outcome was not just sharper acquisition or retention decisions, but a clearer understanding of how to support high-intent learners in building momentum over time.
