MMI One supports visitors and exhibitors across Messe München India events, helping them navigate venues, discover participants, and manage interactions during show days. While the earlier version offered essential functionality, the experience was held back by structural overlap. Navigation paths were duplicated, similar content appeared in multiple places, and users often relied on trial and error to orient themselves. The friction was not about missing features, but about clarity.
This redesign began with a focus on movement. How do people navigate an event when time is limited and attention is divided? What do they look for first, and how do they shift between schedules, exhibitors, and networking tasks? Mapping these journeys revealed that improving structure would create more impact than expanding capability.
The information architecture was simplified and reorganised around user intent. Overlaps were removed, decision paths shortened, and wayfinding cues strengthened to create a steadier sense of place. The visual system was refined alongside the structure, bringing hierarchy, consistency, and composure to the interface.
The result is a calmer and more coherent MMI One, designed to support real event behaviour with clarity rather than complexity.
